Vanessa & Trevor and their 3 handsome boys met me at the beach for their family session on a glorious summer evening and the light was so incredible! The boys had fun exploring and playing and I was there to document it all. They weren’t shy showing their love to mom and dad and there were so many cuddles, hugs and kisses in between rock collecting, playing in the sand and running through waves. I love that mom and dad just let the kids be kids… ending the session with no shirts, covered in sand and soaking wet- isn’t that what life with young boys really looks like? It was a perfect session in my books and I loved the images we created together. Shortly after they moved into their new home, Vanessa sent me a picture of their portraits framed on the wall and it makes me smile even now thinking about it. I’m so glad that their family will enjoy these images daily and for the rest of their lives.
