Narrowing down the images to post from this family session was near impossible. So many sweet moments I wanted to share with you all! This is my beautiful sister Taylor and her little family. I think she and Owen make some pretty gorgeous boys, don’t you?! We photographed their family session in my favourite location near my Niagara studio and the sun was still bright when we started but that’s one of the benefits of this location, all the nooks and crannies and different backdrops we can work with as the sun sets add to the variety in the images.
Often a mamas first reaction to me telling them that all sessions start an hour before sunset is to tell me that it won’t work. That’s when babies needs their beds and Taylor was certain that the entire session was going to be a disaster, that her boys would be tired and cry and just not want anything to do with photos. As you can see, the session was NOT a disaster! What can I say… (I told you so?!) Haha, I’m just joking but I do really know what I’m talking about after 12 years in the photography business. The great outdoors works like a charm and during our sessions we can play and have fun. There’s no forced moments, it’s all about making those babies happy and creating beautiful memories for the family in the most beautiful light! These are just a few of my favourite images and I’m happy to say that many of these are printed and hanging in their home as well. A session is never complete until the images are printed and enjoyed regularly!
