This beautiful family session makes my case. I mean, why wait for fall? In my mind, fall is cold and rainy and everything is so dang colourful. Summer sessions give golden light, golden grasses and golden tans, simple wardrobes and a feeling of freedom. The end result is this – portraits of love and happiness. If that’s not enough to convince you, how about this?
- family schedules are lighter, with less school and sports activities happening during the week
- less chance of illnesses cropping up before school and cold weather starts back up
- with a later sunset it’s totally possible to do the session after work so you don’t need to take extra time off
- we’ll have a greater flexibility in locations and colour palettes
- wardrobe is much simpler with less layers to consider (and if you go barefoot you don’t even have to think about shoes!) which leads to everyone feeling more relaxed and comfortable, creating images that better reflect the real you
- best of all, the post-session ice cream outing that completes a wonderful family experience
