Charlotte

Charlotte is the newest arrival in the Stewart household and she’s so, so loved. It’s easy to see why- she’s adorable, sure. But she’s also come into the family as a rainbow baby, so she brings life and light in a time of loss and sadness. I’m so glad I was able to document her newborn days and lots of snuggle time with her mama. You can see how quiet and intimate these moments were as I photographed them just enjoying each other. Those are some of my absolute favourite images- they just get me right in the heart. I think it’s the knowledge of how fast that time goes by that makes them so special and meaningful! As mamas we spend most of our days holding our babes just like that, with little documentation of that act of love. That’s why I always take the time to create images like these for all my mamas.
By the way, this mama is the amazing photographer behind Katie Stewart Photography and she took some really beautiful images of me photographing her sweet girl, which I’ll treasure forever!
