Sometimes, in order to keep the flame burning bright, you have to turn inwards and re-fuel the creative part of your soul. For me, that was this session in the historic village of Jordan. I tucked Shayna into little spots, nestled into ivy and the fading wisteria blooms and we talked all things motherhood as I photographed her. I’ve posted a few of these images on social media already and the general consensus is that she is simply glowing! I have to agree. Her twin pregnancy was a fragile gift and she had just spent a few days in the hospital before this session, the doctors thought the babies would arrive quite early. But God had other plans and the babies stayed safe inside her womb a few more weeks.  I’m so thankful that God preserved their sweet baby girls and that we were able to document this incredible beginning to a new chapter in her life!
