It isn’t often that I’m contacted by men in search of photography but in this case it was Benjamin who reached out to me and booked two sessions for his wife for Mothers Day. He wanted to surprise her with beautiful images that documented this stage in their life, as they welcomed a new baby to their little family. With their first baby those images never happened and it’s a big regret for them both, so they really enjoyed having these images made for their family to treasure. I loved working with them because of their approach to the sessions – relaxed and comfortable, more focused on having their love and connection documented than a perfect smiling portrait. They spent most of their time just holding each other and playing and loving on one another. It was truly a privilege to be a special part of this milestone in their family. These images (and the ones from their newborn session) will be bound together in a beautiful leather Heirloom Album so that they can relive these moments over and over again with their children as they grow older.
