This Christmas season has certainly been a busy one! I did everything I could to be prepared but with a new little one in the house, some things fall to the wayside. When I realized I would not be getting Christmas cards out on time, I resolved to at LEAST make a blog post to wish my clients, friends and family a Merry Christmas… but even that is late! However, we are thoroughly enjoying our time inside, cozy by the fire, watching movies and drinking hot chocolate and taking turns holding Zion.
Traditionally, we give our gifts early so that Christmas Day remains focused on Christ and His birth. This year, our family of 6 gathered around the tree one evening, decorated with our own handmade ornaments and special angel ornaments for each of the children. We opened presents together and Greg and I watched the joy overflow! Despite the busy, crazy, chaotic moments we experience, we always remember how blessed we are to live here, in this time, in this place, with these people and the freedoms we’re able to enjoy, and we KNOW… we know that is all due to His great grace and mercy. We have certainly been blessed and we are so thankful for this reminder each year, this celebration of our salvation. A Saviour is been born! Hallelujah! Merry Christmas everyone!
Very nice Tamsen! Love the idea of having Christmas Day solely dedicated to Christ and his birth. Totally understandable not to be “on top” of everything with your new addition. You have a beautiful family and I’m glad you had a wonderful Chritmas!
Beautiful Tamsen ! There is so much to be thankful for – no matter what we are going through . Just the knowledge of Gods grace is reason for great joy and thankfulness .
Hallelujah! I know the feeling of being so richly blessed. God is Good! Congratulations on the birth of your newest blessing.
