This beautiful maternity session is bringing me back to warm summer nights, 9 pm sunsets and oh the sun! How I miss the warm sun on my back!!! It’s mid-January and about that time when we all start to get desperate for warmth again. I hope these images bring a little of that back for you, even if just for a moment.

Taylor and I adventured a local park, using all the gorgeous light play on the textural backgrounds to create some really beautiful and dramatic maternity portraits. I love the movement that the reeds, grasses, willow trees and soft breezes add to an image. Taylor made good use of my studio wardrobe, wearing some of my favourite pieces, and I love that she followed my recommendation to hire a HMUA to really pamper her and make her look & feel SO good in front of the camera.
