Photographing a newborn baby is always a privilege and something I don’t take lightly. It’s always an absolute joy for me, which I think most parents don’t believe as they watch me sweating in the warm studio, being peed on and breaking my back as I lean over the beanbag for the perfect angle of their sweet babes face. But it’s true, I LOVE it. I love taking the time to look at each baby and see what it is that makes them special, what makes them unique. I love to photograph their pudgy little toes and flaky skin and all those perfect little newborn trademarks. This sweet babe is the firstborn son of my youngest sister Taylor and her husband Owen. They’re head over heels in love with him and the imagery I took during my time with them captures that perfectly.
