It is always an honor to photograph to fresh new life. A bundle of joy not even one week old, entrusted to my care for a few precious hours. It is an even greater honor to photograph another photographer. However, I think the greatest honor of all is to photograph close friends and to be able to create these memories for them. Maelle is such a beautiful little girl, with those long dark eyelashes, and although it’s not something every girl wishes to be born with, I fell in love with her baby fuzz up and down her arms. So fresh and new, and this won’t last long. Every day you will notice her changing, until suddenly one day you can hardly recall those early days, what she looked like, who did she most resemble? That’s why I’m so passionate about creating newborn imagery for you, something tangible to hold onto and preserve for future generations. I know that as a photographer who understands the importance of this, Danyse will certainly be covering their home with these images and that makes me so happy. Meet Maelle everyone.
